Teachers hold the key that unlocks the magical wonders that take place everyday in your
child's classroom. When you walk into a preschool classroom you can feel the environment. You can tell if
the teachers are co-workers doing their job or if they are friends that get to "play" together.
One of the number one questions I have always asked (when searchinig for my own children over the years) is "what is
your staff turnover rate?" Many preschools/daycares have high turnover rates, or their teachers move from classroom
to classroom to "fill ratios". You'll notice that at Play Time Learning our teachers have worked together
for many years and/or have been close friends for more than a decade. We don't just come to work, clock in/out and go

WHITNEY
HIGH SCHOOL - STARS STUDENT PROGRAM Play Time Learning is pleased to announce
that we are working with the Stars Program at Whitney High School. The Stars Program is a special class for students
who know they want a carreer working with children. Whether it be as teachers, social workers, or pediatricians.
The students excel in their classes and their extra curricular activities. We currently have 4 Whitney High School students
working for us throughout the day. We are pleased to be giving these students the opportunity to work with children
and employment opportunity around their class and extra curricular activities. In return our preschool children gain
time and experience with young adults and at times throughout the day have a teacher/child ratio of 1:4. Thank
you Whitney High School for partnering with you neighborhood preschool! CURRENT
